A policy for Conflict-Minerals

Did you know? Conflict-minerals are present around us on a daily basis. Our rechargeable phone batteries, for instance, are made up of minerals such as tin, tantalum, cobalt and more. It is no secret that the situation around the mining of minerals is sensitive. We want to contribute to the stability and safety around conflict-mineral mining activities. We would like to create and implement an internal conflict-mineral policy to ensure we are compliant with the latest EU Conflict Minerals Regulation to the highest standard. Beyond compliance, we want to provide our colleagues with guidelines and training material to ensure faultless application of the policy.
