We ask you to research what happens to end-of-life carpets used in contract work in the Benelux, France, Germany, Poland, Denmark and UK.
Have you ever wondered what happens when you get rid of a product? Who takes care of it? Where does it end up? Is it being reused? As circularity efforts intensify, these questions are finding more answers. New processes are being implemented to regulate the end-of-life of products. We want answers to these questions with regards to carpets used in contract work (offices, public places, airports, hotels, restaurants, etc.) At the end of the life of these carpets, installers remove the old carpet and replace it with a new one. We want to have a detailed understanding of what happens to carpets after they are removed from these places. This includes the legislation around it, all the actors in the play, and the processes the carpets go through at the end-of-life stage.
