Market research on how many buildings will be renovated or built in the coming period, so we can identify how big the capacity in the building sector should be over the coming 10 years. Mainly to get new insights and to get some extra skills and capacity in.
Capacity in the construction industry will be a daily task. Sometimes the supply is high and the demand of engineers low, and sometimes vice versa. Besides that, we see a employee shortage. This is why it is important to make sure your plans are on point. Part of the planning depends on the work to be carried out. Within our company, we mainly work on new builds, renovations, and improving the sustainability of homes of all shapes and sizes. That is exactly what this assignment is about. We want to get a clear picture of what and how much needs to be built, renovated, and getting more sustainable in the next few years (2022-2030). This research will be carried out on the basis of six regions that together cover the whole of the Netherlands. In addition to mapping out what and how much will be built, renovated and made more sustainable, we also want to get an insight into what installation techniques will be used: (sustainable gas, all electric, heat grids and hybrid solutions).
We would like to see an overview in Excel so that we know very clearly per region what is going to happen (projects and numbers of homes, and what type of installations will be used)
