The future of reporting

Corporate transparency has become the norm. With growing concerns about climate change, food safety, ethical sourcing and more, consumers are demanding more transparency from the companies they buy from. This has resulted in increasing regulatory reporting obligations for companies and increasing pressure on consumers. During our certification activities, we collect large amounts of data for our partners for traceability and certification. We want to ensure that we are ready to provide our clients with the most relevant data to meet upcoming regulatory reporting obligations. We wanted to see how the European reporting landscape will develop in the short, medium and long term. This may be driven by multiple areas, including but not limited to consumer pressure and regulatory pressure. How will the regulatory landscape evolve in the short term? What specific assumptions can we make in the medium to long term in order to anticipate our clients' upcoming reporting needs? From a consumer perspective, what are the signals of change? Ultimately, we want to be as proactive as possible to provide companies and other supply chain actors with the right support to comply with reporting obligations.
